I CAN HELP YOU REACH YOUR GOALS AS AN ATHLETE
Unlike most other branches of psychology, Sport Psychology is not aimed at fixing something that is wrong, but rather with making something that is good even better.
At the top levels, sports are divided up into four main components. These are known as PMTT. Physical, Mental, Tactical and Technical. Most top level athletes are similar in terms of their physical, tactical and technical skills. What set elite athletes apart from others are mental skills.
To understand where sport psychology fits into an athlete's life, consider the following:
Physical Skills are handled by physical trainers, gym consultants and an athlete's own workout regimen.
Tactical Skills are specific to a given team, and are therefore handled by coaches.
Technical Skills are handled by coaches as well, usually at the younger ages as the building blocks of the game are instilled.
Mental Skills are handled by sport mental skills consultants.
Obviously there is some overlap between physical, mental and tactical skills, as none of these things exist in a vacuum. Coaches do some of all of these things, and some do better than others. In the same way that you wouldn't expect a coach to also be an elite personal trainer, you wouldn't expect a coach to be at an elite level with sport psychology, either.
Mental Skills consulting is centered around maximizing an athlete's mental abilities in the same way that a personal trainer maximizes an athlete's physical abilities. This is what I do.
I CAN HELP YOU GET TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
I CAN HELP YOU REACH YOUR FULL POTENTIAL
I CAN HELP YOU BE A BETTER PLAYER
I CAN HELP YOU BE A BETTER COACH
I CAN HELP YOU RECOVER FROM INJURY MORE QUICKLY AND FULLY
I CAN HELP YOU KEEP YOUR FOCUS, MOTIVATION AND CONCENTRATION
